In 2018, Global Compact Network Italy (GCNI) launched the Italian Business & SDGs Web Gallery, an online platform aiming to collect, share and promote business and non-business experiences in the advancement of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In particular, the practices shared in the Gallery underline and analyze motivations, processes, strategies as well as outcomes and lessons related to the implementation of the SDGs by the private sector and by non-profit organizations.
The platform is an open and evolving tool to which companies and organizations can contribute by submitting their practices.
Why contribute?
- to showcase and promote enterprises/organizations’ commitment to the UN 2030 Agenda;
- to compare Experiences on sustainability issues with peer actors in the spirit of benchmarking and peer learning;
- to join a community of sustainable and committed actors;
- to foster collective actions to develop innovative solutions in advancing the SDGs.
So far, 20 business and non business organizations have already enriched the Italian Business & SDGs Web Gallery with their Experiences. Contribute to the project!

Global Compact Network Italy will evaluate and select the experiences submitted in order to guarantee quality and coherence of the tool’s contents. In this regard, an internal Evaluation Committee has been established to ensure quality, validity and consistency of the experiences before uploading on the Web Gallery.
