The fifth Italian round of the Target Gender Equality Accelerator is open. It is a 6-month training course aimed at companies participating to the UN Global Compact, which provides them with the knowledge and skills necessary to set and achieve ambitious corporate objectives for gender equality, with a view to increasing the impact of SDG 5 - Gender Equality of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

The peer learning session (Module 1 and 2) in question aims to resume the contents of the global deep dive sessions 1 and 2 (Deep dive 1: understand the UNGPs, the due diligence process and determine where the company is in its human rights journey; Deep dive 2: analyze the value chain and identify potential negative impacts on human rights), thanks to the facilitation of Oxfam Italia.

The Leaders Summit is the annual UN Global Compact Participant convening which takes place during the UN General Assembly high-level week. This year's Summit will be hosted in New York on 22-23 September 2026 at the New York Marriott Marquis. The 2026 Leaders Summit will provide global sustainability leaders with the tools, networks, knowledge and inspiration needed to scale the impact of private sector contributions to the 2030 Agenda.

The initiative was created with the aim of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in strengthening the integration of sustainability within corporate strategies, promoting a structured and informed approach to ESG issues.
