Since 2023, following registration in the Italian Single National Register of the Third Sector (RUNTS), the Global Compact Network Italy Foundation (UN Global Compact Network Italy) draws up the Social Report to tell, share and enhance its commitment and the work carried out alongside companies and organizations for the promotion of sustainable development, the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the 17 SDGs of the UN 2030 Agenda.
The transition from the production of the Activity Report (published until 2022) to the new reporting format strengthens the Foundation's positioning as a Third Sector Body, as well as promoting greater transparency towards stakeholders. The document, drawn up according to ministerial guidelines on the subject of Social Report, presents - in a detailed and exhaustive manner - the statutory objectives and the structure with which the Foundation has equipped itself to achieve them; the People involved as Staff and collaborators; the Founders and the wider group of participants; a report on the initiatives implemented and on the economic/financial situation; the results achieved in the reference year.
