lenteThe Italian organization, working in over 100 associated companies, is the country partner of World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Global Network, made up of more than 60 CEO-led business organizations worldwide, united by a shared commitment to provide business leadership for sustainable development in their respective countries and regions.

According to Peter Bakker, President and CEO of the WBCSD, “We are delighted to welcome CSR Manager Network on board. Our new Italian partner will help to increase the impact of the WBCSD Global Network in our joint quest to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world.”

“We are proud to represent the WBCSD in Italy.” said Fulvio Rossi, President of CSR Manager Network and CSR Manager of Terna. “The WBCSD's extensive experience in turning the key principles of sustainability into concrete commitments is a great stimulus and encouragement for us. Our contribution will be to add value to the good practices adopted by Italian companies, which do not always achieve international visibility and recognition".

“This is a unique opportunity for CSR Manager Network and its associates”, added Stefania Lallai, CSR Manager Network Director. Ms Lallai is responsible for the management of the partnership with the Council and is Sustainability & External Relations Director at Costa Crociere. “Collaboration with the top international sustainability experts will allow us to examine key issues through the lens of a forward-looking global vision. Part of our commitment will be to capture the attention of Italian businesses and engage them on responsible innovation projects, which is fully in line with our goal of leveraging the business community’s sense of responsibility and concrete contribution to sustainable development”.
