The Italian Banking Association (ABI) renews its commitment to corporate sustainability through the publication of its Communication on Engagement (COE), as a United Nations Global Compact’s signatory.

The document describes the actions promoted in the period 2012-2014 with banks and stakeholders, in the area of legality and anti-corruption, relationships with businesses and families, support for employment, community prosperity and environmental protection.

ABI has been a participant in the United Nations Global Compact since 2005 and has contributed since the outset to the development of a domestic network for the promotion of the Ten Principles of the Global Compact in Italy; ABI is a founding member of the Fondazione Global Compact Network Italia.

The next event concerning these issues will be the 2015 CSR Forum that ABI is organising in Rome on 1 and 2 December (www.abieventi.it/eventi/2203/forum-csr-2015/).
