SDG Pioneers Local Round

The UN Global Compact Network Italy organises the annual local round of the SDG Pioneers campaign, promoted on a global scale by the UN Global Compact with the aim of recognising a new SDG Pioneer Italy, a business leader that embodies and pursues the values of the United Nations on sustainable development and is distinguished by an extraordinary commitment to the SDGs.

In 2024, Veronica Rossi for the category "Large National and Multinational Organizations" and Alessio Gori for the category "Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" won the SDG Pioneer Italy award. They will represent Italy in the global competition for the title of "UN Global Compact SDG Pioneers 2024". The final event, with the announcement of the next global SDG Pioneers, will be held on September, 24 at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit in New York.
