On Wednesday 4 November Ca' Foscari University of Venice has released its fifth Sustainability Report, during the event DIRE FARE DARE – Scoprire il volontariato a Ca’ Foscari.
Ca' Foscari reports annually the actions taken and the results achieved by the university illustrating, in an integrated perspective, the impacts on the economic, environment and social. This year the document was focused on the impact of Ca’ Foscari on the community, especially in economic and social terms, and in particular highlighting the economic value attracted and generated, directly and indirectly.
This is also why Ca' Foscari has decided to present the Sustainability Report 2014 with an event dedicated to the collaborative relationship with the voluntary associations of the territory, which established in 2012 with the project Ca' Foscari Sociale, with the aim to integrate profitably to the dynamics of territorial welfare and to raise awareness of the social role of University.
The Sustainability Report 2014 is a document more substantial than the previous versions, where Ca’ Foscari presents the activities and data in the General University Report and in the Financial Statement, highlighting for each topic the references within these documents, to enable a closer reading. In addition, to adhere to international standards of social reporting, the international framework GRI4 - Global Reporting Initiative has been adopted.
