Ca’ Foscari University of Venice inaugurates on 2 december, 5:30 pm at Ca’ Foscari Zattere, the exhibition “QuindiciPercento. Dialogue on disability around the world”, by the photographer Christian Tasso.

This cultural project, realized by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in collaboration with the artist and the cultural association Equality, consists in the exposition of a selection of images describing the life of people with disability living in different parts of the world and the approches of different communities.

The aim of this projectis to sensitize the public opinion on the topic of rights of people with disability in different context, giving the relevance of inclusion as a way of sustainable development of society, in social and economics terms.

The project include some seminars in order to analyze topics generated by the images showed in the exhibition and some laboratories open to students, encouraging an active involvement of whole community. Seminars will be held every tuesday of December, in Ca’ Foscari Zattere from 5pm to 7pm, and will be moderated by students of Radio Ca’ Foscari. Further it will be guaranteed the translation Italian-Italian Sign Language.

The closinge vent of exhibition will be held on 16 January 2017 in the main building of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and will be presented the results of project.

Visitors with disability can book a visit with a tutor.
