Waste Italia, through the holding company Kinexia Group, published the Sustainability Report, to maintain dialogue and a formal commitment to transparency to all stakeholders.

The strategic decision to submit simultaneously the Sustainability Report and the Consolidated Financial Statements espresse Kinexia’s intention to provide a complete information dashboard, being the sustainability the fundamental value of its renewable energyand enviroment based business.

All company departments were involved in the writing of the Report, coordinated by the CSR Function. The Sustainability Agents are a feature of the Group: a team of internal resources with the aim of triggering positive changes and accelerate the education and training processes on the entire corporate structure on social, environmental and economic issues.

The many structural changes that took place during 2014 (merger, acquisition companies) did not compromise Kinexia’s social sustainability values, they have allowed to demonstrate the excellence of the CSR policy, confirmed by the SR10 Certiquality certification. The award attests to the will and good practices towards stakeholders, confirming the procedures and information transparency.

From the environmental point of view, the process of Energy efficiency for the headquarter in Milan was significant: the installation of LEDs instead of traditional incandescent bulbs.
